This "Conservatory violin" from Saxony in Germany has an outstanding sound in the price range and is a highly recommendable instrument for orchestral players that was built after Stradivari patterns in the 1920's. It is the quality work of one of the larger workshops from the well-known violin making region in Saxony. The shining and subtzly antiqued golden-brown varnish is especially beautiful and harmonises most beautifully with the violin´s interestingly flamed two piece back. This beautiful violin has no cracks or repairs and is offered in perfect, undamaged condition, ready to play after a meticulous restoration by our luthiers. The sound unfolds bright and warm, open, yet rich in overtones in the higher ranges.
