Good German violin bow, silver mounts

This bow is an older German silver mounted violin bow stamped Weichold Dresden. The weight is 60,2 g, the length 74,0 cm. The octagonal stick is made of red-brown pernambuco wood. The ebony frog is sterling silver mounted with Parisian eye and white-greenßblueish shimmering pearl slide. The bow has its felt balance point in the middle slightly shifted towards the frog. The measured balance point is at 25,1 cm from the frog end. This violin bow is a softer bow producing a warm, bright sweetish tone. Well suitable for beginners as the bow compensates for player's faults.
