Cancellation policy
Statutory right of withdrawal and extended 30-day return guarantee
Right of withdrawal (distance selling online orders)
As a consumer, you may cancel your contractual declaration within 14 days without stating reasons in writing (e.g. letter, fax, email) or – if the goods have been left to you before the expiry of the deadline – by returning the goods (please enclose a copy of the invoice). The deadline shall begin after receipt of this instruction in writing, but not before receipt of the goods by the recipient (in case of recurring deliveries of similar goods, not before receipt of the first partial delivery) and also not before fulfillment of our information obligations in accordance with Article 246 § 2 in conjunction with § 1 para. 1 and 2 EGBGB as well as our obligations according to § 312g para. 1 clause 1 BGB in connection with article 246 § 3 EGBGB. The revocation period is met by sending the revocation or the goods in an unaltered state in good time. The revocation is to be addressed to:
Corilon violins GmbH
Lilienstrasse 2
81669 Munich
Germany
E-Mail: mail@corilon.com
Consequences of revocation
In the event of an effective cancellation, the services received on both sides and any benefits obtained (e.g. interest) shall be returned. If you are unable or partially unable to return the received services and benefits (e.g. benefits of use) to us, or only able to return them in a deteriorated condition, you must compensate us for the loss in value. This may mean that you must nevertheless fulfill the contractual payment obligations for the period up to the revocation. You only have to pay compensation for the deterioration of the goods and for the benefits obtained if the benefits or the deterioration are due to a handling of the goods that goes beyond the examination of the properties and the functioning. “Testing the properties and functionality” refers to testing and trying out the respective goods, as is possible and customary in a retail store. Any changes to the goods by you or by third parties will result in the exclusion of the return.
Items that can be sent by parcel post are to be returned neatly and securely packed as received. You have to bear the regular costs of the return shipment if the delivered goods correspond to the ordered goods (or if, in the case of a higher price of the goods, you have not yet provided the consideration or a contractually agreed partial payment at the time of revocation). Otherwise, the return shipment is free of charge for you. Items that cannot be sent by parcel post will be collected from your premises. The obligations to return the goods and to refund payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. The period begins for you with the dispatch of your declaration of revocation or the item, and for us with their receipt. Transaction fees of the payment service provider Stripe (credit card) chosen by the customer are also incurred in the event of a revocation / return and are not refunded. End of the cancellation policy.
Extended 30-day return policy
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, Corilon violins offers you an extended 30-day return policy for all orders placed on our website and for all in-store purchases. If you are not satisfied with an instrument or bow purchased from us, please inform us within 30 days of receiving your order that you wish to return it. We will refund 100% of the purchase price after the instrument with the original invoice or a copy of the invoice has been returned to us undamaged and unaltered and no later than 45 days after delivery. The return of goods is at the risk and expense of the customer. Transaction fees of the payment service provider Stripe (credit card), which may have been chosen by the customer, will also be charged in the event of a return and will not be refunded. Any transaction fees incurred for refunds of bank transfers from abroad shall be borne by the customer.
