Antique German violin after Maggini, Markneukirchen, approx. 1900

This antique German violin is a very attractive instrument that was built after the well-known Maggini model in the violin making town of Markneukirchen. The golden-brown colored varnish completes the typical aesthetic of a Maggini violin with its patina and interesting traces of age, an unmistakable style that is determined by the diagonal, long ff-holes and the nice double purfling. The crackfree violin worked over completely by our violin makers and is offered ready to play, offered as a special recommendation for demanding who will enjoy the large, voluminous sound for its warmth, clarity and strength.
