Sophisticated Italian master violin by Antonio Venturini

This sophisticated Italian master violin was built by Antonio Venturini to meet the highest artistic standards. Born in 1941, this master craftsman began his path in other fields and initially worked in surveying and auto mechanics as welll as on the Italian railroad. After completing his training at the violin building school of Cremona in 1978, he spent four years under the famous master Stefano Conia. In 1985 Antonio Venturini opened his own atelier and consistently applied his exacting values as a craftsman, as can be seen by this Italian violin, which was created in the first year his workshop opened. The instrument is in perfect condition and an outstanding representation of his work: Premium tone woods – most notably the ribs with their beautifully close flaming – were used with great care and coated with a rich, lustrous deep red oil varnish. This modern Italian master violin’s magnificent sound is loud and projects well, with a bright, powerful clarity and a gentle note to it; despite its 45 years, it expresses the voice of a youthful master.
