Old Italian violin by Antonio Lechi

An excellent, bright sounding Italian violin. The instrument is an Antonio Lecchi instrument made in Cremona in 1923. The broad model quite unusual with attractive soundholes. The varnish is of a dark brown color over a golden ground, well preserved and in very good condition. A repair to the center joint on top is well made and covered by the tailpiece. The violin has been overhauled by our violin maker and is set up to fine playing condition. This violin has a powerful bright open sound of brilliance and clarity. Special recommendation!
