The elegant aesthetic and the outstanding, singing tone of this powerful French violin by Amedee Dieudonne made in 1945 sets it apart from the large numbers of other Mirecourt instruments patterned after the successful Stradivarius model. It has a delicate, well finished edge, delicate purfling, playfully and cleanly shaped soundholes and a delicate scroll which all make this French beauty a true character with a personality of its own. Beautiful woods, especially a strongly, fine flamed maple for the back, were used to handcraft this instrument meticulously. It features an original Dieudonne certificate as well as Amedee Dieudonne's original label. A lumious and transparent red-brown varnish was applied over a lighter shimmering ground. The sound of the violin is rich in overtones and clear. This French violin is offered - like all instruments from us - in perfect condition ready to play, worked over by the luthiers in our atelier.
