Unquestionably one of the most experienced bow makers from the Seifert workshop in Markneukirchen, master bow maker Lothar Seifert crafted this fine and very handy and forgiving German cello bow in the 1980's from premium quality materials, finest dark red-brown pernambuco, silver and ebony wood. The cello bows is of good weight and has a sensed balance point is perfectly centered, and with its large, warm and fluid, precise yet rounded sound this cello bow features excellent sound and playing qualities. The strong, round stick is of good stiffness and medium elasticity, the expressive ebony frog is silver mounted and decorated with a large Parisian eye. The cello bow´s total length is 71.3 cm, the measured balance point is at 25.9 cm including the adjuster. This fine Lothar Seifert cello bow is a forgiving player, full of character and deserves our special recommendation.
