3/4 - powerful old French 3/4 violin of sound

This French 3/4 sized violin is one of the rare small sized instruments that are fully comparable to 4/4 instruments due to their exceptionally strong sound. Built approx. 1900 in the French violin making town of Mirecourt, the violin bears a "Modele d'apres Stradivarius" label that indicates the French styled, wide and flat Stradivari model of this successfully crafted instrument. Flawless craftsmanship is clearly visible at the deep black purfling, that was accurately inlaid and finely extends into the corners. The large scroll is a very French aesthetic work, beautifully carved. Quality tonewoods are visible under the transparent, luminous orange-brown varnish; the beautifully flamed maple of the back is especially worth to be mentioned. We offer this 3/4 violin in very good condition, undamaged, and ready to play. It takes no wonder that this violin convinces with a voice full of character. Luthier-checked and in brought by us t immediate playing condition its warm and dark sound unfolds full of character and power, with warmth in the lower ranges.
