Modern, 1970's master violin, probably English

This modern master violin was built approx. 1970, it is a modern English work in our opinion. Although it is not known who made this beautiful modern violin, it is nevertheless a high quality piece of work, obviously made by master hand. Richly applied, glossy oil varnish of intensively light golden-brown color covers the perfectly preserved instrument. The large and well-carved scroll features an impressive appearance that excellently matches the overall shape of the body - while, on the other hand, the contrast with the slim soundholes and delicate purfling is another detail full of character. We offer this unknown master violin undamaged, ready to play, worked over completely by our professional violin maker, and recommend its bright soloist sound to a very good player, to produce a bright, mature sound that is rich in overtones.
