SALE Fine antique French 3/4 sized violin, noble sound

This antique 3/4 violin with a warm, sophisticated sound was crafted around the turn of the century c1900 in France and has preserved its beauty throughout its history. There is a rich coat of a warm, honey-coloured varnish on the medium to wide grained spruce of the one piece top and the beautifully flamed two piece maple back. The sound holes were carved with great precision, and the scroll is elegantly designed in a typically French style, though a bit roughly finished. This historic and very attractive 3/4 instrument is in outstanding overall condition; there are, however, minimal traces of use on the top. Our atelier violin violin making and restoration set up the violin thoroughly and is pleased to present it in the best possible condition. With its warm, bright voice full of character, this old 3/4 violin is the ideal instrument for young talented musicians with high standards.
