3/4 - old German Schuster & Co. violin

This old Saxonian 3/4 violin was built in 1928 in the renowed workshop of Schuster & Co. in Markneurkichen and is an enjoyable instrument to play. The exceptionally good sound of this old 3/4 3/4 violin – particularly for an instrument of this size – is full, warm, powerful and round; it has given this violin a rich musical biography that is further confirmed by the numerous traces of use and retouched areas visible on its transparent red-brown varnish. Medium grained spruce and deeply flamed maple were crafted to replicate a narrow Stradivari model; the 3/4 violin has small, elegant sound holes and very precise purfling. After having been thoroughly worked over by our luthier, this instrument with some optical flaws is in good condition, and we are pleased to offer this good German 3/4 violin at the price.
