SALE Antique Czech violin. Made in the Italian style approx. 1910

SALE This beautiful old Czech violin, a c.1910 piece, blends its unmistakably Bohemian heritage with charming highlights of the Italian style. In particular, the woods, edgework and soundholes closely resembles its Italian templates. With its beautifully carved scroll and refined red-brown varnish that bears many traces form history, this instrument is a elegant personality with a broad range of sound nuances. Warm and matured in its lower registers, its balanced sound of medium power gains clarity, brightness and sweetness in the upper registers. Despite its varnish flaws this recommendable old Czech violin has a repaired back seam but no cracks, and after having been worked over by our violin maker, we offer it to you in perfect condition.
