Probably Acoulon & Blondelet, old French violin, 1920's

This elegant old French violin is an unlabeled instrument with unmistakeable, nonstandard character. Its transparent, golden-brown varnish bears hardly any traces of use, and decorates the deeply flamed maple of the one-piece back. The scroll and pegbox are crafted with very individual style and determine the appearance of this violin, that is a very typical model of the Acoulon & Blondelet ateliers in Mirecourt. This good sounding old French violin is offered undamaged and well preserved. Our luthiers worked over the instrument completely and made it ready to play. It unfolds its bright, brilliant, ringing sound, that is well-balanced across all strings, rich in overtones, that we recommend especially to male players having a rich, powerful play.
