German violin, Bubenreuth 20th century

The instrument is a good old violin made in Bubenreuth in the 1970ies. It is a good sounding robust students instrument, handmade, easy to play, well preserved and in excellent condition. The model is after Antonius Stradivarius. The top is made of regular medium grained spruce, the one piece back of flamed maple. The accurately inlaid purfling is especially well made and beautiful. The instrument has been check and set up by our luthier with a new set of ebony pegs, a new bridge, soundpost, new ebony tailpiece and chinrest as well as new Pirastro strings. The sound is bright and open, well balanced and of good strength. Suitable for orchestra players.
