Antique Czech Violin, c.1910 - warm, rounded tone

From the hands of a skilled violin maker comes this good Czech violin, made in the 1910's with much attention to the detail following Stradivari patterns. The Czech luthier chose exceptionally good tonewoods, very regular spruce for the top and mildly flamed maple for the back. The oppulent outline, the accurate, fine purfling and the small, elegant soundholes bear witness to the high precision of his work. The golden-orange-brown varnish with fine natural patina has some signs from playing. A best quality Czech violin with an attractive sound, large, warm, rounded yet clear and resonant. This beautiful Czech violin is offered undamaged, in perfect playing condition, and like all instruments from Corilon violins, it is has been meticulously worked over and approved by our violin makers and is ready to play.

The "Violins" section features our attractive selection of other old European violins, with audio sound samples.
