This light and easy-to-play German cello bow with Leon Pique stamp was made in the middle of the 20th century, an active and powerful cello bow which, with its excellent weight distribution, lies very well in the hand and offers excellent playing characteristics. Its felt balance point is in the middle, slightly in the lower half; the total weight is 76.5 g. The solid, active stick with octagonal cross-section is made of finest pernambuco wood. The elegant shape of the head and the beautiful silver mounting of the ebony frog and the design of the legs present an accomplished and tasteful master. The sound is clear, crisp and bright. A cello bow with excellent bounce characteristics.
