A floor protector is an indispensable accessory for every cellist, and if you have become frustrated with makeshift solutions that are more or less improvised, you should have a look at this well-designed, space-saving and practical endpin stopper.

Some cellists see the little divots their endpin leaves on the floor or carpeting and regard them as a kind of trophy, but for homeowners and landlords they are nothing but a source of frustration. And digging the endpin into the floor is also not a very secure way to play.
