One of the best sounding instruments at the price: this old, 1920's 3/4 violin has an excellently balanced, warm, strong and clear sound, which is absolutely suitable for contest performances, resonant and precise, with very good response. This quality violin was built in the early 20th century in the Bohemia-Vogtland region; it is a good choice for small-budgeted talented young players who love the mature sound of an old stringed instrument that new ones can´t produce. The 3/4 violin was built following a typically-arched Amati model, with a deeply flamed two-piece maple back and a fine/medium grained spruce top. As if he wanted to attract even visual attention, the unknown workshop crafted a very special, individual somewhat rough scroll. The beautiful light-brown varnish bears some minor, retouched traces from playing as are typical for an often played instrument, some damage to the varnish covered by the chinrest allows us to offer this good 3/4 at the low price. The violin has been thoroughly worked over and set up by our luthiers and is offered now in very good, crack-free and immediate playing condition. Our special recommendation!
