This 3/4-sized violin comes from one of the great traditional workshops of Mirecourt and is a top-quality and aesthetically very appealing instrument that dates back to around 1910. Patterned after a broad Stradivari model, this violin will win musicians over with its high quality, excellent tone woods and careful craftsmanship. The intensely luminous orange brown varnish against a golden yellow background is a wonderful complement to the broadly-grained spruce of the top and flamed sycamore maple of the two-part back. The perfectly maintained violin was made ready to play in our atelier and is a true beauty, not least because of its acoustic qualities and its quite powerful, clear sound that is warm, bright and open.
