This beautiful French violin was crafted in the late 19th century in the famous J.T.L. ateliers of Mirecourt. The petite 3/4-sized violin is part of the sought-after Maestro series, Jerôme Thibouville-Lamy's line of instruments with an especially good sound. The top is eye-catchingly beautiful: it features spruce with broad and highly unusual grain that is perfectly offset by the brightly radiant golden brown varnish. The deeply carved scroll is elegant and was crafted with great aesthetic sensibility. The violin is free of cracks and was meticulously worked over and made ready to play by our luthier. This J.T.L Maestro is marked by its bright, open, clear, strong sound which is somewhat gentle in the lower registers.
