Old German 3/4 violin, probably August Clemens Glier

This excellent antique German 3/4 violin was probably built in the renowed Markneukirchen workshop of August Clemens Glier around 1900. It features a beautiful, sophisticated look, a warm, powerful sound and it is preserved in remarkable condition. The top is made of medium-grained spruce, the two-piece back of deeply flamed maple. The golden-brown varnish with shades of orange intensifies the natural beauty of the well-selected tonewoods.
