This high-quality German 3/4 violin was made in the old Markneukirchen style. The 3/4 violin was handmade around 1920 in an unknown Saxon workshop. The top and back of the 3/4 violin feature the typical medium-high arching of this traditional Stradivarius model with a gentle groove. The delicate purfling contrasts nicely with the medium grained spruce of the top; the beautifully crafted scroll of the 3/4 violin is carved with skillful style. The golden-brown varnish on a light ground characteristic of the region shows only a few traces of use. Without repairs, this old German 3/4 violin with its bright varnish is in excellent condition and, after almost 100 years, is characterized by its powerful, large sound, which is warm and has a rather bright tone, rich in volume and assertiveness. After a thorough reconditioning in our workshop, we are offering this Saxon 3/4 violin in ready-to-play condition. Free shipping, with a 30-day return policy and Corilon's trade-in guarantee.
