Crafted around 1820 in the French town of Mirecourt, this historic French 1/8 children's violin is a premium children's instrument with exceptional acoustic qualities. Its warm, large sound is perfectly suited for competitive use, which can only be said of very few good violins of such small size. This good 1/8 violin's balanced voice is sophisticated and full of overtones, with good volume in the lower registers. Its mature character and outstanding resonance are compelling. This rare antique 1/8 violin is nearly 200 years old and was made using a tried-and-true Stradivari model. The patinated light-brown varnish, expressively carved scroll and the vertically positioned sound holes contribute to the individual character of this little 1/8 violin, which is a true beauty featuring very mild flames on its one-piece maple back. We recommend this very well-preserved instrument, a true rarity, which the specialists in our workshop set up carefully and made it ready to play. It is an ideal partner for the musical education of young and ambitious talents.
