This 3/4 violin from Germany was made in Markneukirchen in the 1950's. It is a robust student violin that was made on a Stradivarius model, most probably in the Meinel & Herold workshops in Markneukirchen. The model is after Antonius Stradivarius. The violin was handmade made from solid tonewoods: the top is made of medium grained spruce, the two-piece back of flamed maple. This well-made 3/4 violin is preserved undamaged in crackfree condition, it has been meticulously worked over in our atelier and is offered ready to play. The sound is matured, clear and nicely raxiant in the upper ranges. A robust instrument, affordable in price and suitable for little ruffnecks.
