3/4 violin from Mirecourt made by Laberte on the "Mansuy" model. This antique 3/4-sized violin is a very elegant instrument with an unmistakably French style; it was built around 1930 in Mirecourt. The 3/4 violin has a powerful sound and aesthetic quality that is rarely found at children's instruments: it features an attractive scroll, a beautiful grain in its tone woods and a luminous orange-brown varnish. Its warm, strong sound is also very pleasing — mature, radiant and strong; warm with a slightly soft undertone and excellent balance across all of the strings. This antique French 3/4 violin is extremely responsive and will motivate to play! It has some traces of use but no cracks, and we offer this rare 3/4 violin in perfect condition, completely worked over by our luthiers and ready to play.
