The octonagonal, strong and elastic stick of orange-brown pernambuco has Hermann Richard Pfretzschner's typical diameter distribution and is of top quality, as is the nickel-mounted frog with its Parisian eye and capsule adjuster. This rare Pfretzschner viola bow has its balance point centered, slightly inclined towards the head at 26.6 cm including the length of the adjuster. It plays strong, actively and precisely and produces an extremely large, clear, bright, powerful and radiant tone.
