Good old German-Bohemian viola c.1930

An older German-Bohemian viola with 39 cm in smaller size and a slim neck, made in the 1930s. The instrument was handmade in Saxony or Bohemia and is preserved undamaged. The body length is 39.6 cm. The model is after Antonius Stradivarius. The top wood is remarkably beautiful medium grained spruce, the back is made of flamed sycamore maple. Well made antiquings decorates the beautiful tonewoods. This lovely old viola is ready to play, the sound is warm, bright, round, clear and somewhat mellow.
