Fine violin bow - Silver mounted masterpiece, 1920's

This fine German violin bow was made approx. 1920 in an unknown master in Markneukirchen, where it was crafted as a successful example of exceptionally good artisanry, with finest aesthetical and musical qualities. The round stick is made of first choice pernambuco wood and is of medium strength, allowing fluid play. Its totay inclined towards the lower half of the stick. The elegant shape of the finely carved head determines the classical beauty of the bow, the finely finished ebony frog is silver mounted.
