The French violin bow on offer is a very good antique violin bow of the Pierre Cuniot school, which was made in Mirecourt around 1900. The strong, round and reactive stick with high tension and activity is made of fine pernambuco. The large ebony frog is nickel-silver mounted with a mother-of-pearl eye and shimmering light green-rose mother-of-pearl slide; a three-part leg adorns the frog. The violin bow weighs just under 60 g and has its balance point right in the middle, measured at 25.8 cm including the legs. An excellent, powerful, active French violin bow, which we offer undamaged and ready to play and which produces a powerful, clear, bright and typically French sound.
