German Erich Steiner violin bow

A good German violin bow made in the 1980ies by Erich Steiner. The bow is stamped Erich Steiner on shaft. The octagonal stick is made of brown pernambuco wood. The bow has been well played and stick shows wear from playing above the frog. The ebony frog is German silver mounted with Parisian eye and green shimmering pearl slide. The weight is 65,3 g, the length 74,5 cm. The felt balance point is in the lower half towards the middle. The bow has new hair, leather and silver winding and is in fine playing condition. Produces a warm, clear strong tone.
