The great French master Eugène Nicolas Sartory is among those craftsmen, who set standards in bow making internationally and were copied by numerous successors. The violin bow offered here was made in a Markneukirchen bow making master workshop, is an excellent example of Sartory´s influence on the bow makers in Saxony, that is not limited to his famous apprentice Hermann W. Prell: The unknown bow maker who crafted this violin bow in a Markneukirchen master workshop in the late 20th century also knew how to apply Sartory's principles: With its strong, octagonal stick made from the finest reddish-brown pernambuco, the violin bow is powerful and playfully active and can withstand a lot of pressure. The perfect weight distribution also comes very close to the French model: the balance point of this bow, with a total length of 74.7 cm, is felt to be in the middle of the upper third; measured exactly at 27.2 cm. This allows the tip to be controlled very well. The nickel-silver mounted ebony frog is beautifully fitted with a Parisian eye and capsule bone. We recommend this Markneukirchen master violin bow to discerning musicians for its rich, big tone, which adds volume to the sound. Free shipping with 30-day return policy and trade-in guarantee.
