Powerful German violin bow, Richard Geipel

This powerful German violin bow was crafted by Richard Geipel in Markneukirchen/Schönlind in the 1960/1970's, it bears the "Rich. Geipel" brandstamp on shaft - a very successful, powerful violin bow with a strong, octagonal stick made of fine, dark-red quality pernambuco wood. The nickel mounted ebony frog is decorated with a Pearl eye and a white shimmering pearl slide. This strong allrounder has a centered balance point,slightly inclined towards the lower half of the stick and measured at 25.9 cm of 74.3 cm total...
