Silver violin bow by Conrad Götz

This older German three-star violin bow by Conrad Götz was made in the 1970ies in Saxony. It is silver mounted and stamped Conrad Götz on shaft above the frog and on the frog. The strong, octagonal stick is made of brown pernambuco wood. The ebony frog is silver mounted with Pearl eye and green-rose pearl slide. The 73.9 cm stick has its balance point centered and is measued at 25.4 cm. This versatile violin bow has been worked over and equipped with new hair, winding and leather and is offered ready to play, the bow produces a bright, clear and very precise tone that adds clarity to the violin tone.
