The octagonal stick is elastic with medium tension and of medium to soft strength at play, the stick is made of fine quality light-brown pernambuco wood, the ebony frog is nickel mounted, with a Parisian eye. A beautifully playing bow that does not allow high but allows normal pressure at play and that produces a warm, mellow sound full of character. This Albert Schuster bow complements clear, brilliant, somehwat sharp sounding violins.
