A fine German violin bow by Hermann Albert Hoyer. The bow was made in Markneukirchen around 1930. The bow is stamped Herm. Albert Hoyer on shaft and a logo the frog, the stamps are original. The octagonal stick is made of dark brown pern-ambuco wood. The plain ebony frog is nickel mounted with nickel slide and adjuster. The metal parts of the frog and the adjuster have floral engravings.
