Antique Saxon violin. This beautiful German violin was built in the 1920s, a lovely light brown example of these Saxon old string instruments, which were built in a small master workshop. The model of the violin offered here is based on the Amati model with a beautiful one-piece back made of flamed maple. The light brown transparent varnish is in good condition; the pretty carving of the scroll tastefully complements the mature character. Crack-free with minor repairs to the lower edge, well preserved and completely refurbished in our workshop, this fine handcrafted violin from Markneukirchen is in very good, playable condition. Its sound is warm, clear, exceptionally good for its price range, and powerful. Comes with a 30-day return policy, free shipping, and Corilon's general trade-in guarantee.
