Antique French violin. The violin, stamped D. Salsar, was made around 1860 in Mirecourt in the style of the period. This beautiful violin from the 19th century is a very good sounding model after Stradivari with well-crafted arching. The inlay work is particularly beautiful and beautifully crafted. The two-piece top is made of regular, medium grained spruce, the one-piece back of flamed maple. The transparent, light brown varnish has a wonderful patina. This attractive French violin is in very good condition, crack-free and undamaged. Its sound is warm, voluminous and powerful, with radiant trebles that emphasize the character of the instrument. Like all our violins and bows, this instrument is offered with a 30-day return policy and Corilon's trade-in guarantee.
