This unlabeled antique French violin is an attractive piece of work made in the early 20th century - an interesting and unique violin that features outstanding acoustical properties in the price range. The woods are of best quality and well selected: the top is made of regular medium grained spruce, the two piece back of maple with deep flames. The patinated varnish is of a warm orange-brown color, very tpical for Mirecourt instruments of this period and showing wonderful signs of age and patination. This attractive antique French violin is in excellent undamaged condition and has been luthier-checked and set up in our workshop. The sound is warm and rich in volume, radiant in the upper ranges and very powerful. With Corilon's trade-guarantee and an optional certificate of appraisal.
