A very beautiful Mittenwald violin by Edi Sandner c.1950. The violin is labelled with the original label by Sandner. Even though the violin is not a typical piece of work of the Mittenwald school it is still original, as given on the certificate of value by a Mittenwald master maker that is included with the violin. The violin is completely undamaged and in perfect playing condition. The sound is sweet and open, bright with a mellow note in the lower ranges. Comes with a certificate of value by Anton Sprenger.
