The experienced hand of a master can be seen in this excellent unlabeled German master violin, which was crafted in the early century by a master unknown to us. The mild arches of the body feature handsome, soft fluting on the top and back, and the interior also reflects the outstanding craftsmanship of the instrument. A rich, luminous and highly transparent orange-brown oil varnish with slight craquellation complements the deep flames of the two-piece maple back and ribs. Delicately executed purfling sets the premium tone woods in an excellent light. This fine violin has an excellent sound and is ready to play after having been thoroughly worked over by the specialists at our atelier. It will win you over with its beauty and its colorful, warm, nuanced voice.
