It is a rather broad instrument patterned after a Stradivari model, bearing the original dated Schuster & Co. label. The craftsman behind this instrument was a talented artisan who paid attention to detail: the elegantly shaped sound holes radiate a unique character, and the delicate purfling was clearly done by an experienced hand. A transparent and luminously beautiful orange-yellow varnish with meaningful traces from intensive playing play up the flaming on the two-piece maple back.
