This delicate and especially well-executed German masterpiece was made as a fine Stradivarius bench copy of a 1721 Stradivarius instrument in keeping with the original which features a delicately crafted flat table. The attractive aesthetic of this c.1880 violin has distinctive and shows an individual style which is beautifully enhanced by the intense traces of use dating back through several generations of musicians. The rich grain of the spruce used on the top and the deep, broad flames of the maple back are clearly visible under the luminous red-brown oil varnish that covers premium tonewoods. This professional violin has been kept in top condition and has minor repairs only. Like all stringed instruments from Corilon this gorgeous instrument was set up by and made ready to play by our luthiers. Powerful and full of resonant strength, its warm voice is bright, open, radiant and mature.
