Rare 7/8 violin from the French-Belgian school, of fine quality, built around 1910/1920

This French 7/8 violin (attributed to the Hilaire Darche workshop), built around 1910/1920, is a strikingly beautiful instrument with traces of intensive use and of a quality that is rarely available. The workmanship of the top and back and the pretty scroll are a good reference to the craftsmanship and quality; the exceptionally beautiful, transparent, bright red-brown oil varnish over a brightly shining base adorns the fine tonewoods, especially the maple back with flowing flaming. As mature and noble as the appearance of this fine, crack-free 7/8 violin is its mature, radiant sound, which it unfolds ready to play after thorough refurbishment in our workshop. Delivered free of shipping costs, with a 30-day return policy and Corilon's trade-in guarantee.
