It is a violin made by Vittorio Mutti in Castiglione in 1940, an instrument with exceptionally beautiful melting sound, unique woods and an indeed interesting scroll. The spirit varnish has been somewhat carelessly applied, its dark red color puts the beautiful grain of the sound woods in the most appealing light. This Italian violin by Vittorio Mutto is in very good condition and undamaged with the exception of a small pegbox repair....
