Martin Tauscher, German violin with a brilliant sound

This German violin is a Saxon copy of Stradivari, built in the 1970s in Erlbach in Martin Tauscher's workshop, following Saxonian traditions of violin making. The instrument is a solid piece, well-crafted and aesthetically appealing with its glossy orange-brown transparent spirit varnish covering the top which is made from nice, wide to medium grained spruce, and the gentle flames of the two-piece back.
