Fritz Heberlein, a member of the traditional Markneukirchen luthier family of the Heberleins, is the maker of this distinctive and charismatic instrument. Fritz was a very enthusiastic and gifted artisan, which can easily be seen in his successful works. He passed the master craftsman's examination in 1920 and continued to work in his own atelier in Markneukirchen. In 1926 he created this unique violin, a thoroughly handcrafted master violin of outstanding quality and workmanship. Over the years the violin has gained more and more character and maturity. The darkened deep-red oil varnish features strong craquelure. The Fritz Heberlein violin's sound is strong and precise, highly resonant and rich in overtones. With its wide and colourful acoustic spectrum, it is especially good for experienced and advanced players. It was looked over by our luthier and is offered ready to play!
