Modern Italian violin by Franco Barozzi, built in 1990 in Rovereto on Lake Garda, with the original label. Its bright, brilliant sound, which allows differentiated interpretations even in larger concert halls, is carrying, rich in overtones and clear. The visual impact of the first-class tonewoods, worked with mature craftsmanship, the radiant orange-brown varnish and the widely worked purfling is of hardly lesser power; they demonstrate the high standards of quality and style with which the violin was crafted. The spruce of the top and the two-piece maple back with its narrow flames are an expression of flowing harmony. Individuality and craftsmanship are demonstrated by the pegbox and the impressive scroll, which are a good restatement of Cremonese violin making traditions. Our luthier has carefully gone through this modern Italian violin, which we offer in perfect condition, ready to play and ready for concert.
