This attractive and very beautiful antique German violin was built in the 1900's after Nicolo Amati, which is expressed in the unmistakable elegant pattern and the soundholes shaped in the Nicolo Amati style, the violin bears an Amati model label. The flat to medium arching of the instrument was thoroughly handcrafted by an experienced hand in a good workshop of Markneukirchen in Saxony. The antiqued, light brown varnish is playing with different, golden to light brown colors and decorates the flames of the two-piece back and the medium grained spruce of the top, determining the enigmatic antique appearance of the violin. We offer this good sounding German Amati violin undamaged in excellent and immediate playing condition, completely worked over by our professional luthiers, as all of our instruments. Its warm, resonant sound has colors and noblesse and is somewhat mellow.
