This old German violin, built in the 1930's, is a beautiful instrument that has a warm, strong and mature balanced sound - indeed good sound qualities at the price. The violin was handmade in Markneukirchen/Saxony. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the two piece back of attractively flamed maple: quality tonewoods, adorned with the interesting play of colors produced by a transparent golden-orange/brown varnish over a luminous yellow ground. Typical but acceptbale, minor traces of use show that this good German handmade violin has been played often and with pleasure. Offered in perfect condition without any cracks or damage, this handmade German 1930's violin is in perfect playing condition after it has been completely worked over by our professional luthiers offering a warm, mature, strong, clear quality tone.
