This old violin was built after the model of the great Giuseppe Guarneri, a beautiful, skillfully crafted German violin with a mature, dark and radiant sound. It was handcrafted around 1920 in Markneukirchen. Handmade Saxon quality can be seen in the overall style, the shape of the scroll, the arching and the selection of tonewoods, and the beautiful quality of the transparent light-brown varnish. This old Markneukirchen violin is in perfect crackfree condition, it was carefully worked-over by our experienced luthier and is offered ready to play.
